Description:
Orsapan-D is a dual-action formulation combining Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI),
and Domperidone, a prokinetic agent. It is used for the treatment of acid reflux,
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), functional dyspepsia, and nausea associated with
gastrointestinal motility disorders.
• Pantoprazole reduces excess stomach acid by irreversibly blocking the proton pumps in
gastric parietal cells.
• Domperidone enhances stomach and intestinal motility while preventing nausea and
bloating by blocking dopamine receptors in the gut.
Together, they offer fast and long-lasting relief from acidity, heartburn, bloating, and upper
abdominal discomfort.

Directions for Use:

• Muscle cramps, tremors, or seizures (linked to low magnesium levels with long-term PPI use)
• Breast enlargement or galactorrhea (in males or females – due to domperidone)
• Signs of liver dysfunction (jaundice, dark urine, upper abdominal pain)
• Persistent or worsening gastrointestinal symptoms
