Sumatriptan + Naproxen (Fixed-Dose Combination)
Drug Class: Triptan + NSAID
Purpose: Acute treatment of migraine attacks

Indications
- Acute migraine attacks (with or without aura)
- Patients with recurrence after triptan monotherapy
Dosage (Adults)
- Typical tablet: Sumatriptan 85 mg + Naproxen 500 mg
- Administration: Take at onset of migraine
- Max: 2 tablets in 24 hrs (?2 hrs apart)
- Not for prophylaxis (preventive use)

Contraindications
- Cardiovascular disease (IHD, stroke, uncontrolled hypertension)
- Peptic ulcer disease / GI bleeding
- NSAID hypersensitivity or aspirin-induced asthma
- Severe liver or kidney impairment
- Pregnancy & lactation (use caution)
Clinical Note: Especially useful in patients with migraines that recur within 24 hrs of triptan use, since naproxen prolongs effect.
